The law enforcement veteran and InVest USA founder discusses Abbott’s valid concerns over the cartels stepping up their game at Texas’ borders.

As if the interference from President Joe Biden and his administration wasn’t enough to worry about, Gov. Greg Abbott has another concern when it comes to the border crisis in Texas.

Per a recent article in Newsweek, he explained how Mexican cartels could be resorting to using drones in an effort to attack people on the other side of the border.

“Let me foreshadow also another concern we’re gonna have really soon, it’s already kind of beginning right now, and that’s gonna be drone wars,” Abbott said during a recent TV appearance on Fox News. “The capability of the cartels about getting things across the border through drones already is extraordinary and they’re gonna be more aggressive, more sophisticated in the drone attacks.”

He also believes terrorist organizations, including ISIS, may have already set up shop in the United States – which would make it easier to operate a similar plan.

“It’s ridiculous that anybody has their shoes inspected in an airport these days when terrorists can come right across the border and sneak in and come here,” Abbott said.
