Law enforcement veteran Michael Letts wonders why President Biden isn’t doing more to contain border threats, especially incoming from China.

Throughout the past few months, there has been some heavy concern about migrants entering our country illegally through Mexico. But it turns out quite a few of those migrants are actually coming from China.

A report from Fox News reveals that, according to data from Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Chinese nationals are the second largest nationally encountered at the border in San Diego Sector, beating out Mexican nationals.

This is of huge concern, considering that China has been trying to spy on the U.S. over the past year or so, setting up illegal district offices and even sending a spy balloon into a heavily populated area.

21,000 Chinese nationals as a whole have been encountered over the past fiscal year, coming second to Colombian migrants (around 28,000).

Brandon Judd, the president of the National Border Patrol Council, stated his concern over this matter while speaking to Fox News, noting that the majority of migrants are single adult males, within military age.

“That is a very scary prospect,” he explained. “We know that China does not like us, we know that we are in the crosshairs of China.”

So what now? Will Biden eventually look into this matter and actually resolve the border crisis? Or will it get worse?
