Biden Seeks to Reclassify Marijuana

The Biden Administration plans to ease federal restrictions on marijuana – reclassifying it so it is no longer considered alongside heroin and LSD.

The left has continually sought to make marijuana legal and more accessible nationwide. In this move, the Drug Enforcement Administration is expected to approve an opinion by the Department of Health and Human Services that marijuana should be reclassified from the most strict Schedule I to the less stringent Schedule III.

The controversial Attorney General Merrick Garland submitted the rescheduling proposal Tuesday afternoon.

Joining us now to discuss the troubling move is Police officer Michael Letts of InVest USA, a charity that provides bulletproof vests to police and other first responders.  He has witnessed the dangerous results of marijuana in his many years as a police officer.

Michael, welcome to the program.
