Do you still watch Fox News?
If so, what Jesse Watters told you about that mysterious baggie of cocaine found in the White House a couple months ago is probably old hat.
But for the rest of us who rely on second-hand reports like this one for your Fox updates, here’s what Jesse told his viewers, recently.
According to the Western Journal, Watters believes, “the Secret Service has been lying to you about everything.”
In stating his claim, Watters relied on 100 pages of source material that he received from the Secret Service through a Freedom of Information Act request. The facts it contained were puzzling, starting with the location of the cocaine. Early reports pointed to its taking up residence in the White House library, part of the Biden family living quarters. Then, the story changed with suggestions that the white powder was found outside the Situation Room. But that baggie had legs. Next thing you know, a report from the Daily Mail revealed pictures of it residing comfortably inside a White House locker. The door to the locker was open and the baggie with the white substance within was clearly visible.
But wouldn’t you know it? The Secret Service said the locker was locked and the key went missing.
Hold everything. Another report said the baggie was found on the floor, not inside the cubby.
And then the Secret Service shut down the investigation for an alleged lack of evidence. Actually, it seems more like a lack of consistency.
Oh, they had evidence alright. Watters said tests conducted on the white powder initially pointed to opioids and amphetamines. So, how did it suddenly morph into cocaine?
And what about the three tubes of DNA evidence, apparently retrieved from the baggie? The Secret Service destroyed the cocaine and said there was no DNA to be found, but the paperwork showed otherwise.
Thank you, Jesse Watters, for reminding us that whenever our criminal overlord masterminds want to make it happen, the truth…like cocaine…can always take a powder.
