Atjun, was arrested on Saturday morning when officers responded to a shooting at approximately 1:30 a.m. and found the four victims shot in what "appeared to be an ambush attack." Local news outlet Fox23 identified the two deceased victims as Arturo Degollado Jr. and Jett Brummett, both 18, who were pronounced dead on the scene.
In a post to X, Tulsa PD said that another 18-year-old and a 19-year-old were transported to the hospital suffering from gunshot wounds. The surviving victims are expected to recover according to Fox23. A witness Quy Do, an employee at a family business nearby told reporters “It is somewhat shocking, yet not entirely surprising, as this apartment complex experiences incidents on average every week and a half.” He added, “Things just happen. Perhaps the entire community needs to take action, but that requires significant effort.”
