As reported by WHDH ABC7, bystander video footage captured Kwesiah confronting Soares after she collided with his vehicle from behind, lifting the woman from her feet and bodily throwing her to the pavement. Responding police found Soares lying on the roadway severely injured, suffering a broken foot, broken knee, serious trauma to her eye socket, and a severe head injury.
The outlet wrote that a witness told police that Kwesiah was seen striking the roof of Soares’ vehicle before grabbing her and ripping her from the driver’s seat as the woman yelled “Leave me alone!”Gladior Kwesiah, a 26-year-old Rhode Island man is under arrest following an alleged road rage incident in Attleboro, MA, on Friday morning.

“I remember thinking, ‘I’m in the air right now, I’m in the air,'” Soares told reporters. “I tried to defend myself and then he picked me up, and that was when the woman got the video of me being thrown to the ground.”
Speaking with CBS News, Soares said, “The only thing that I could think of was I knew I was in the air and by the time I was realizing I was in the air and I thought to myself, like, I might die right now, I had already hit the ground. And I didn't realize that I had hit the ground," Soares said. "It was like a weird sensation I felt on my face and that's when I realized I was on the ground and I rolled over and there was blood dripping all over my hands."

Police found the suspect standing over the injured woman and placed him under arrest.
Going back to the accident that led to the attack Soares told WHDH, “He kept slamming on his brakes and then when we got to the intersection, we hit a light and he was in front of me. As soon as we went through we didn’t even make it across and he slammed on his brakes, so I hit him.” She reportedly left her vehicle to take a video of the damage when Kwesiah allegedly confronted her and snatched her phone.DISTURBING: A Rhode Island man body slams a woman into the pavement after she rear-ended his vehicle.

Reacting to the attack, Attleboro Police Sergeant Kevin Sellers called it “inappropriate and unacceptable conduct stemming from what was essentially a minor motor vehicle crash.”
The victim was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital nearby. Kwesiah was booked by the Attleboro Police Department on charges including assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon serious injury resulting, malicious destruction of property, and operating a vehicle without a license.
According to a now-disabled Facebook page allegedly belonging to Kwesiah, the suspect is from Monrovia, Liberia, and studied at American International College. The Sun Chronicle reported that he has posted $2,500 bail and has been released pending a pretrial hearing scheduled for Jan. 28th.
Police Chief Kyle Heagney told the Chronicle that the incident was “shocking and seriously violent."
