However, the company\u2019s head of regional security noted that suspects couldn\u2019t be approached or arrested in-store.\u00a0\u201cWe were told they didn\u2019t want to create a scene inside the store and have people film it and put it on social media. They didn\u2019t want negative press.\u201d<\/p><p class=\"\">Target had come under fire earlier in the year, facing a potential boycott and losing millions of dollars over carrying LGBT items during a celebration of \u201cpride month.\u201d The retailer came under fire for selling items that some believed weren\u2019t safe for children.<\/p><p class=\"\">So what happens when a retail giant prevents police from doing their job, despite being asked to do their job?
