A\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/europe\/russian-black-sea-commander-shown-working-after-ukraine-said-it-killed-him-2023-09-26\/\">new report from Reuters<\/a>\u00a0revealed that Sokolov recently appeared on Russian state television as part of a defense leaders\u2019 remote meeting, indicating that the report was false.<\/p><p>Backing up on their previous report, the Ukraine special forces noted on Telegram,\u00a0\u201cSince the Russians were urgently forced to publish a response with Sokolov allegedly alive, our units are clarifying the information.\u201d<\/p><p>This news comes just days after\u00a0<a href=\"applewebdata:\/\/9FCC2111-52FF-47DD-9256-67912E268BFC\/%22Since%20the%20Russians%20were%20urgently%20forced%20to%20publish%20a%20response%20with%20Sokolov%20allegedly%20alive,%20our%20units%20are%20clarifying%20the%20information.%22\">President Joe Biden had announced<\/a>\u00a0that the United States would provide further \u201csecurity assistance\u201d to Ukraine, with a military package valued at $325 million. And it appears there could be billions more where that came from.<\/p><p>Which begs the question \u2013 was the Ukraine trying to impress the United States with its quick report on Sokolov?
